So, someone has very sensibly pointed out in the comments that there appears to be a chapter missing.

Apparently I managed to comment out an entire chapter during editing- this has been added back in, so if you are looking for some example monsters, some tips on building combat, and a bunch of cool NPC's for players to fight, download the updated storytellers guide and check it out.
